The LOCKTON FISHTAIL™ Universal Barrel Extension System is designed specifically for inline restricted key systems, allowing a standard 32 mm barrel to operate in longer Oval cylinders used on smart locks, thick doors and extended hardware applications.

Using a simple two‑piece drive arrangement, FISHTAIL™ extends the reach of the existing barrel through a precision‑fitted Fishtail Cam and Extension Coupler. The cam fixes directly to the rear of the barrel, while the extension piece slides over it and is securely retained inside the Oval cylinder bore. Once assembled, the system provides a strong, smooth and accurate rotational drive suitable for all extended-cylinder applications.
FISHTAIL™ supports 50 mm, 62 mm & 74 mm Oval cylinder configurations, making it ideal for smart‑lock installations, oversized doors and retrofit commercial environments where additional cylinder length is required.
Installation is fast and straightforward: attach the Fishtail Cam, slide on the Extension Coupler, insert the assembly into the Oval cylinder and fit the chosen cam at the rear.
